5 Week Evening Course with Susan Browne
What makes life meaningful? Over five weeks, using meditation and contemplation techniques from the Buddhist tradition, we will explore this together, looking in depth at how we can create the life we would like to live.
At present we find ourselves in a world that is changing so rapidly it can leave us feeling adrift. Right now, we have a precious opportunity to reflect on how we are living our lives and to use our time well, in a way that can really benefit us and others.
This exploration will be framed in the context of the Four Noble Truths as taught by the Buddha: understanding suffering, its causes – negative emotions & karma, that we can be free of suffering, and the way to that freedom.
Through reflection, discussion, and guided meditation practices we will enter a process of discovery of what it means to live a fulfilling life.
